Trying to log in to RaiseMyFunds and nothing goes as expected? In most cases the problem comes from a simple confusion: logging in to the trader area and logging in to MetaTrader 5 are two distinct things, with two different sets of credentials. Here is how to do it, step by step.
Two logins, two sets of credentials
- The trader area (client dashboard): this is where you track your funding application, review your performance, request a withdrawal and retrieve your trading credentials. Login by email + password.
- MetaTrader 5: the execution platform where you actually trade. Login by account number, password and, above all, server name.
A trader area password never works on MT5: if you get “invalid account”, you are probably using the wrong one.
Where to log in, without landing on the wrong site
The rule is simple: always go through the official site raisemyfunds.co, then use the login button. The trader area and the checkout flow are served from the subdomain live.raisemyfunds.co. Check this domain in the address bar before typing anything.
Never log in from a link received by private message, social DM or unsolicited email: that is the classic fake-support technique. Our article on raisemyfunds.co and fake sites details the warning signs.
Logging in to the trader area: the steps
- Go to raisemyfunds.co and open the login page.
- Sign in with the email used for your funding application.
- Once connected, your dashboard shows your application status, your capital and access to withdrawals.
- In this area, retrieve your MT5 login details: login, password and server.
If your funding is not active yet, it is normal that no MT5 account appears: credentials are generated when the trading account is opened.
Forgotten password or unrecognised account
- Use the reset link on the official login page.
- Check your spam folder and the exact address used at signup (a secondary address is often the culprit).
- A very old password saved by your browser for another site also causes this type of error: clear the field and retype it manually.
- If the account was never confirmed (pending payment, missing document), login may remain impossible: contact support via the official site.
Common MetaTrader 5 errors
- “Invalid account”: wrong account number or, nine times out of ten, wrong server name.
- “Account disabled”: the account is deactivated. This happens after a rule violation, notably sharing your trading credentials with a third party.
- Dropping connection: IP or network change, unstable VPN, or a badly configured mobile version.
- Swapped password: do not confuse the investor password (read only) with the main password (execution + internal transfers).
Security: three rules you must never break
- Never share your MT5 credentials, not even with an “account manager”: most prop firm rulebooks forbid it, and that alone cancels a payout.
- Enable two-factor authentication where offered, on the trader area and on your email.
- No legitimate employee will ever ask for your password, not on Discord, not on Telegram, not on WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
Can I log in from several devices?
Yes, the trader area works from any browser. On MT5, check how many simultaneous sessions your rulebook allows.
The login is slow, is that normal?
During major economic news windows, the trader area can slow down. Retry outside those windows before concluding there is an account problem.
What if I think my account is compromised?
Change your trader area and email passwords immediately, then warn support from the official site.
