Hola Prime changes its rules: the 21 October 2026 announcement
On 21 October 2026, Hola Prime announced a double change: the launch of The Rulebook, a single document bringing together all the rules applicable to its accounts, and the removal of three restrictions that had previously applied to funded accounts. A clear direction: simplify trading conditions for its funded traders, while making every rule change traceable over time.
As a reminder, Hola Prime is a global prop firm known for its 1-Hour Payout model (payouts processed within one hour), which has made transparency on payments its specialty. This rule change fits the same strategy. Our article “Hola Prime: complete review 2026” details the firm’s program and offer.
The 3 restrictions removed on funded accounts
Until now, three specific constraints applied to Hola Prime funded accounts. They disappear with this update.
1. End of the 60% concentration cap per trade
The rule capped the maximum concentration of a position at 60% of available margin. In practice, it prevented you from committing almost the entire account to a single trade, sometimes failing positions judged too concentrated. With its removal, the funded trader regains control over position sizing, no longer having to arbitrate a trading plan against a mechanical cap.
2. End of the 70% maximum margin rule
The second lock capped usable margin at 70%. In practice, part of the capital always remained frozen, even in very favourable market conditions. This limit disappears: margin becomes fully usable according to the trader’s strategy.
3. End of the 3-minute stop loss deadline
The third rule required placing a stop loss within three minutes of opening a position. Scalpers and news traders know it well: on very short timeframes, a deadline on the stop can disrupt an already finely tuned management routine. The time constraint is removed, even though risk management itself remains essential — the drawdown rules, for their part, do not change.
The Rulebook: all the rules in one place
The other part of the announcement is the creation of The Rulebook, a consolidated rulebook accessible from the official website. Its goal: to bring together in a single document the challenge passing criteria, the trading conditions, the rules applicable to accounts, the breach conditions and the account requirements. No more navigating between several pages to piece together the rules that apply to your account.
Transparent change logs
The Rulebook includes change logs documenting every rule change. Traders can follow the history of modifications and anticipate future adjustments, instead of discovering a new rule on the day it hits them.
An appeal process for contested breaches
Hola Prime also formalises an appeal process: a trader who believes a breach was wrongly applied can submit a claim. The Risk team examines the circumstances and provides a written explanation, whether the initial breach is upheld or cancelled. A formal channel often missing in the industry.
What it actually changes for traders
On the trading side, the balance is positive: more freedom on position sizing, more usable margin, and the end of a deadline constraint on the stop loss that mainly penalised short-term strategies. Caution though: the fundamental parameters of the program remain unchanged. Profit targets stay at 8% in phase 1 and 5% in phase 2, daily drawdown at 5% and maximum drawdown at 10%, with a profit split of up to 95% depending on the plan. If these notions are new to you, our article “daily drawdown vs trailing drawdown” explains why this distinction fails more than one challenge.
Removing these three restrictions mainly reduces the risk of “technical” breaches, the kind you trigger without any trading mistake: a position opened without a stop within 3 minutes, a margin slightly too high at the moment of a bounce. The trader can refocus on the market rather than on compliance with micro-rules.

Our take
Removing restrictions on funded accounts follows the direction the industry is heading: the strongest firms simplify their conditions once their risk management is under control. Combined with the Rulebook and its readable change history, the 21 October 2026 announcement strengthens the transparency that built Hola Prime’s reputation. For funded traders, it is an immediate flexibility gain; for challenge candidates, one more reason to consider the firm, especially since the fundamental parameters (targets, drawdowns, split) remain competitive against comparable firms — to be weighed against the one-hour payout model and the High Stakes programs of competitors like The5ers.
